Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
Effective October 29, 2026. This policy covers epitopehealth.com and the Epitope app, both published by Strategix AI Partners LLC. The site's general privacy policy covers everything else.
This is the consumer health data privacy policy that Washington's My Health My Data Act, Nevada's consumer health data law and Connecticut's data privacy law ask a publisher to keep. It applies to everyone, wherever you live. Consumer health data means information that could say something about your health and could be linked to you.
What is collected, and why
This website collects none. It has no accounts, forms, cookies or trackers, and search and the allergist list filters run in your browser and send nothing. Like any website, the server that delivers a page receives your network address and the page requested, to deliver it. If you email us, we receive what you write; please leave health details out.
The Epitope app keeps everything you enter (allergen profiles, watch lists, reactions, labs, medicines, appointments and the rest) on your device. We never receive it, and we keep no database of users. One kind of consumer health data reaches our service: the question you type into Anthia, with the earlier questions and answers in that conversation, and only after you have agreed to the AI features and confirmed you are 18 or older. A question can describe your health or your family's. It is used for one purpose: to write the answer to it. Our service does not store the question or the answer.
With each Anthia question the service also receives a random install ID made by the app and your network address, to keep the free-question and daily limits. The install ID is kept with a count of questions. The address is never stored: only a daily count under a one-way code that changes every day and is deleted after two days. Neither says anything about your health. Barcode lookups and pollen forecasts send no health information: a barcode number, or a location rounded to about one kilometer, which is wider than the law's definition of a precise location. AI features that are not in this release (Lab Lens, menu and recipe scans, "Explain this result", journal patterns) will be added to this policy, and will ask for your consent, before any of them sends anything.
Where it comes from
Only from you: what you type into Anthia, and what you write to us if you email support, for example by tapping "Report this answer" in the app. Nothing is bought, inferred, or taken from anyone else.
What is shared
Only the Anthia question, and only to write its answer. We do not sell consumer health data, share it for advertising, or give it to anyone else, except where the law requires it. This website shares nothing with anyone.
Who receives it
Three companies and public bodies, each for one step of the answer, acting on our instructions:
- Cloudflare, Inc., which hosts our AI service and relays the question.
- Anthropic, PBC, whose Claude models write and check the answer, under commercial terms that do not allow it to train its models on your question.
- The US National Library of Medicine, a public research database, which receives two search phrases written from your question to find recent papers, and whose NIH iCite service receives the numbers of the papers found. Nothing that identifies you goes with them.
No affiliate of Strategix AI Partners LLC receives consumer health data.
Your rights, and how to use them
You can ask us to confirm whether we collect, share or sell consumer health data about you, to give you a copy of it and the list of everyone who received it, with a way to contact them, to delete it, and to withdraw any consent you gave. Email support@strategixpartners.ai with "health data" in the subject line. We answer within 45 days; if we need up to 45 days more, we tell you within the first 45 and say why. Because our service keeps no questions or answers, the usual answer is that there is nothing to show or delete, and you will have it in writing. If we decline a request, you can appeal by replying to our answer and saying so, and we answer the appeal in writing within 45 days. If you disagree with that answer, you may contact your state attorney general; in Washington, the Washington State Attorney General at atg.wa.gov.
To withdraw consent in the app, switch AI features off in Me, under Privacy and data. From then on nothing is sent, and nothing you already asked was stored. The same policy is in the app, under Me, Privacy and data.
